Frequently asked Questions

Can one QR code (link) scan many Markers?
Currently a Qr code (link) can only scan one marker.
Why when scanning images, AR content is unstable, or phenomena such as flashing, jerking, distortion... occur? And how to handle stable AR display?
  • The operating principle of the AR camera is like a physical eye. If the image has little detail, it will be difficult for the camera to recognize or receive but not enough detail for the camera to achieve stability.

  • For AR to appear well, stably and smoothly, the scanned image needs to add details with enough contrast, helping the camera to recognize quickly.

Tips: details on the plane should be placed evenly on the flat surface (for example, the center and corners, avoid placing too many details in the center without any details in the corners).

When using the plane scanning function, I found it very difficult to represent AR objects on the floor. How to easily display content on a flat surface faster and easier?
The lighting is good and the plane/background is not blown out. The best flat surface should have textures, such as carpet, wood grain, tile grain, etc., which will ensure stability when placing 3D objects and experiencing.
I cannot use PNG format for image scanning. The symptom is that the file does not display the background. What is the fix?
When exporting images from design software, optimize these images by File > Save > Save for web
What is the difference between AR marker (image scanning) and AR markerless (plane scanning)? In what cases is it appropriate to use?
  • VAR marker needs to scan a physical object (brochure, namecard...) to display AR content. And for the best AR experience, the physical object should pay attention to the materials used.

  • AR marker is suitable for event publications, or corporate brochure/catalogue printing materials, or training programs.

  • AR markerless will recognize flat surfaces (avoiding light reflection that blinds the flat surface) to place 3D objects.

  • Markerless AR is suitable for interactive 3D experiences. Suitable for real estate/interior or mechanical engineering professions, because going deep into internal details allows users to have a realistic perspective on 3D objects.

What is the perfect material to use when using the AR marker (image scanning) function?
Avoid using printing materials with large reflective surfaces.
Is ARit limited to devices? Suggest some minimum or stable equipment
Please check the device list here https://developers.google.com/ar/devices
Does ARit allow users to create AR content (graphic, motion, clip, 3D)?
Users need to prepare marker files (identification images) and AR display files, and 3D files in GLB/GLTF format (plane scanning), video clips (mp4).
When scanning AR, the website loads slowly. What is the fix?
In case AR scanning is slow, users should check the following points:
  • Strong wifi/4G conditions

  • Clear device cache

Why is the camera still not activated when scanning the QR code/clicking on the link?
The AR experience will be at its best when running on Chrome and Safari browsers.
